New Genset Installation

A large pipeline company required additional Power to accommodate their control room expansion that were rapidly being completed. The existing aging Genset could not handle the upcoming additional loads & this was the main control center for the entire pipeline system.

RLN was called in to locate, install and commission the new Genset, The Genset needed to be 120/208 and all of the available sets in this size range were set up 277/480. A G3406 was located quickly changed over to operate at the lower voltage switching out the Breaker & CT’s to accommodate the change up.

A rental standby was immediately installed and the existing unit was quickly removed to make room for the new G3406 Cat unit. The new unit install was completed quickly, commissioned and tested on time.
